What is Annealing?
At this process, a metal blank is heated to reduce its hardness generated at the previous process (Former) and increase its ductility for following process (Press).Annealing is necessary to lighten loads on dies and molds at Press process.

What is Shot Blast?
It is a one of surface treatment methods. An oxide film called a scale generated on surface of blank at annealing process is removed by projecting small steel grains to the surface.The main purpose of this process includes the following 4 points.
1)Removing oxide film after annealing process
2)Foundation for lubricant (Bonderizing)
3)Foundation for plating
4)Deburring
What is Bonderizing?
Bonderizing(phosphating) is a treatment to coat with lubricant film on blank surface before Press process.The lubricant film works for reducing a friction between a blank and dies at pressing and preventing them from burning, which facilitates press forming and makes dies life longer.
Also, it is effective in preventing rust of blank.
