What is Parts Former?
Parts Former is a “transverse automatic press machine” in short.
These machines work with a coiled material, for example, straighten the material, cut it off to a certain volume, and mold it several times conveying the material.
Our machines can mold the material passing maximum 4 stages in single machine. In other words, we can realize molding for 5 processes by single machine, including cutting off.
The most strong point of Parts Former is reducing drastically the lead time and the in‐process inventory, because it is able to cut off and mold the material at the same time.

SF600 is the most large-scale facility that we possess, which is 4-stage Parts Former made by ASAHI SUNAC.
SF600 has an inversion function in the transport mechanism (it is called “universal transfer type”).
This mechanism realizes more complex molding, for example, multiple simultaneous inversion molding, piercing and trimming.
